Behind "Pepito Manaloto"

MICHAEL V.’s show on GMA 7 might be bidding the small screen goodbye. But this doesn’t mean that Bitoy will be minus one show in Kapuso.

Michael has been tapped to topbill a sitcom, titled "Pepito Manaloto."

Playing his wife is Manilyn Reynes. Also starring is Carmina Villaroel.

Directed by Bert de Leon, Michael will play a lottery winner.

Carmina is the reason he became one.

This sitcom marks the first time all three are working together. But they have the "tatak" komedyante.

No need to tell you that Michael is currently one of our better comedians. He topbills, together with Ogie Alcasid, the long-running gag show, "Bubble Gang," on GMA 7.

Carmina started her TV career in the comedy show, "Palibhasa Lalake," which also starred Richard Gomez, Anjo Yllana, and John Estrada.

Her last stint in a comedy program was "Nuts Entertainment," also on GMA 7.

Carmina is also cast in "The Last Prince," which has Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal.
